Ride as a passenger or dare to drive yourself – either way it will be an experience you won’t leave behind… Don’t have to worry much if you never drive it before. If you could ride a motorcycle, that would not be too hard for you to drive this one.
After registration, the tour will start with orientation and safety tip briefing are in English. The trainner will allow you to have test driving about 5-10 min. For the beginner, you may start with basic one hour riding course. With this course, you can have fun riding on off-road trail among the great environment of local farms, plantations and jungle to the remote village.
Three or more hour course is for more advance riders. The real adventure starts where the road ends, where they can experience the next level by riding into the jungle to the top of mountain.
The closest ATV center is only 8 min. drive from the resort. Some ATV’s advanced level group will even drive pass through Sukantara Resort climbing up to catch stunning highest mountain views. ATV price is a bit high. It’s about THB2,500-/person for basic course(1 hr.) www.atv-chiangmai-tours.com

Maesa Elephant camp, where you’ll take in a show and see the world famous Elephant’s Painting. Maesa elephant camp is the first training center that could teach elephants to paint. On 19 February 2005, the most expensive painting by an elephant sold for US$39,000. Moreover, you will be surprised with an elephant Football matches consisting of many talented elephant players. The ticket for the show costs about THB 120/ psn.

By the same time, it could be your impression choice if you choose to have an experience to ride the elephants through the jungle to see nearby Long-neck Karen (moutain tribe) village. An entrance fee costs about THB 500/ psn.

Elephant are recognzied as the national animal of Thailand. In May 1998, the Cabinet approved the designation of March 13 as Thai Elephants Day to raise and sustain public awareness of the importance of elephants. Every year on this day Mae Sa elephant camp prepares a “buffet” of fruit and vegetables for about 70 elephants to enjoy. You may enjoy watching them eating the biggest buffet.
