All 14 rooms and suites at Sukantara Casade Resort & Spa are positioned along the path of the waterfall.  The design concept of Sukantara Cascade Resort & Spa was based on working with the existing terrain, leaving a minimal footprint on the landscape and conserving as many trees as possible.

Waterfall Lanna Cottage

Although all the accommodation offers close proximity to the flowing waters, the units situated closest are the Waterfall Lanna Cottages. 
 
These standalone villas are constructed from hard wood and designed in a Modern-Lanna style with high vaulted ceilings allowing the interiors to be well ventilated.

One of the highlights in the W Lanna Cottage rooms is the open-air bathrooms, which invite guests to enjoy a relaxing shower under the moonlight in traditional Lanna style.  
Some rooms of this types could see the cascade streaming past right outside the doors. Called “Waterfall Lanna Cottage”.

Our Twin-Lanna Cottage is actually a combination of two Lanna Cottages with outdoor Jacuzzi in between and sharing the same patio where you get more privacy and larger veranda.  
 
It is designed with Modern-Lanna style blending with nature environment. The cottages feature natural wood beams, Lanna style-high ceiling, and local-silk furnishings to create a warm, Northern ambiance.

It is the only Suite Pool Villa in Chiang Mai that is just next to the side of river offering a luxury traditional Thai villa where guests surely enjoy a private relaxing area such as separated living area, private pool, sitting area and spacious veranda for Barbecue. Together with a stunning garden plus view of cascade and tropical forest scenery.

 

The room type offering guests maximum privacy, of which there is only one unit. One of the in-room highlights is the outdoor Jacuzzi, where guests can indulge in an indulgent soak in absolute privacy while enjoying the view of the waterfall.  

 

The Pool Villa Suite comprises three separate pavilions, a design cue borrowed from generations past. Unlike those commonly found nowadays, the pavilion roofs are covered with handmade clay tiles. The largest pavilion houses the master bedroom, complete with an indoor Jacuzzi. The smaller pavilion at the back can be used as a private relaxation area to lounge in peace, or as accommodation for additional guests. The third pavilion is a versatile space designed for additional living and leisure activities, built in hardwood and decorated with intricate gold lacquer furnishings.

The Deluxe Jacuzzi Panorama units are located on the two-story buildings tucked into a hillside in the mountain wing.

 

Styled in a Lanna-Colonial design, the suites offer wide panoramas of the lush mountainsides streaming in through oversized glass windows. All of them, however, feature a private Jacuzzi in the en-suite bathrooms.

The most luxurious room in the same wing as the Deluxe Jacuzzi Panorama units is the Panorama Suite, which is situated on the upper floor of the buildings. This large suite feature tall windows that wrap around the front and side, looking out over treetops and down across the lush valley as far as the eye can see.  

The interiors of the Panorama Suite is designed in a Royal Lanna style, with captivating elements such as gilded beams with gold leaf in traditional patterns.  

 

At the break of dawn, sunlight flickers through the stained windows, and upon finding the gilded patterns, speckles the interiors with a magical glow.  

 

Panorama Suite guests can take an extended soak in the large private Jacuzzi positioned next to the window, sip on a glass of wine and listen to the birds chirping just outside. If you look closely, you just might see the small Asian hummingbirds flitting through the treetops.
